NFL: Tom Brady wins NFL MVP award
Tom Brady was just named the NFL’s Most Valuable Player, he collected 49 of 50 votes. The New England Patriots quarterback led his team to an undefeated regular season and set the all-time record for most thrown touchdowns with 50 - all he needs to do now is win the Super Bowl.
Tom Brady had this to say about the the MVP award: “I have always been a huge football fan and will always have great respect for the history of this game, I am grateful to all of the voters for any consideration I was given. It is a tremendous honor and I am sure it is one that my family will one day look back on with great pride.” Play that humble / good-guy card Tom!
New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft also had something to say about Brady getting the award:
“To be honest, I’m surprised it took so long for him to get this recognition because he’s sort of been our MVP since he stepped on the field in ‘01, in my mind, and the way he just took over. He treats everyone in that locker room the same way he treats me or the coaches.”"And the thing that I’ve found most interesting is if you talk to role players or backups how he talks to them and motivates them. He treats them like they’re going to the Pro Bowl, with that kind of respect.” Ok enough of the praises please.
Brady is the first Patriot to ever win the MVP award and along with his 50 touchdowns and 16-0 record this year, Brady had a 68.9 completion percentage and 4,806 passing yards.

As a far-away (Europe) Patriots fan, I am always looking for new sites with Pats’ information.
